It’s often said that songwriting comes from life experience, and Cory’s music is a perfect example. Growing up was spent between the white sandy beaches of Hawaii on the island of Oahu, and running dirt roads on his four-wheeler in the rural town of Carleton, Michigan.
The son of a Navy Corpsman, Cory was fortunate enough to experience a childhood full of variety and culture. It is this upbringing, and nearly a decade in the Nashville music scene, that shapes the music he plays today. Best described as country with a little salt and lime, you’ll find a mix of island country and Americana. You’ll also find a fair dose of classic rock and top 40 thrown in the mix with his original songwriting. After hurricane Irma, Cory and his family relocated to Las Vegas, where he performs when not traveling to shows and house concerts.
